Rudder Tiller is a documentary about Basri Korkmaz, who works as a fisherman at İzmir Bostanlı fishing port. Basri Korkmaz is practicing fisheri since 1974 and he loves the sea and fishing. He thougt this profession to his sons to keep this business pass down.
As we see in the documentary, Basri is a very entertaining person, thanks to his personality he’s very popular among his friends. The name of the documentary comes from his personality. Rudder tiller, which controls the boat is an essential piece of it. The similarity between the rudder tiller and Basri Korkmaz inspired the name of the documentary.
